Wolf Camp is not open to the public, and we do not give tours except during our Open House BBQ Work-A-Thon which occurs in 2008 on June 29th, and you are also welcome to RSVP for Helen Thayer's Three Amongst the Wolves Leadership presentation on June 28th. Otherwise, for security of our campers and resident students, anyone who is not not enrolled in a program running at the time of arrival will be escorted off the property immediately. However, camp alumni and their families are always welcome to enjoy the land and lake with a Wolf Boosters membership if they call ahead to confirm that there are no scheduling conflicts. Click here for a Yahoo Map to our rural camp area. Directions to Wolf Camp at Woods Lake are: Address is 7933 287th Ave. SE, Monroe, WA 98272. This is 1/2 mile before the end of Woods LAKE Road (not to be confused with Woods Creek Road) which is in the City of Sultan emergency response area. Our phone number here is 360-799-1997. Immediately at the end of the (now 5 year old) clearcut (with trees getting 10 feet high or more) take the gravel driveway down and to the right, marked with a little green street sign 287th Ave. SE and 82nd St. SE. Go a block and continue STRAIGHT through the wooden gate posts - do not curve 90 degrees right or go to the end of the main gravel road. It would be helpful if you could manage to drive into camp, turn around, then go back and parrallel park along the driveway facing out. Or you can park further down into camp as directed by staff. |
