Index to Summer Training Camps

All Summer Camps take place in Washington State, or click here for Academic Year Training Camps taking place throughout the U.S. The week starts with Sunday dinner and goes through Friday dinner. There is also a $25-$75 Sunday airport/bus/train pickup fee and a $25-$175 for dropping off depending on driving distance and how long you stay during the weekend. Tuition for Summer 2012 is $620 if you register by December 20, or $635 if you register by February 5, or $650 if you register by March 10, or $665 if you register by April 30, or $680 if you register by June 5, and $695 thereafter if space remains available. $175 per week per participant deposit is required to hold your spot. The Naturalist Mentor - Outdoor Leadership Training

Trip Leadership, Mentoring Theory, Teaching Practicum,

Wildlife Trackers
Bioregional Ecology & Zoology Training

Co-sponsored by Wolf Haven, Int'l, this course travels to Ocean Spray Shorelines, in Olympic Nat'l Park Rainforests, and in the Mountains of the Teanaway Wolf Pack.

Wilderness Survival Training & Trek

Introductory & Advanced Wilderness Survival Levels
including traditional fire by friction, emergency shelter building,
navigation, wild foods and medicine, crafts and a test of your skills.

Wild Ethnobotany & Herbalism Training

The Earth Skills Artisan
Traditional Technologies Training

Course located at Dash Point State Park with trips to the Wolf Campus.

Project Choices: Bows & Arrows, Flintknapping Arrowheads, Natural Knives & Adzes, Live Traps & Fish Spears, Rabbitsticks and At-Latls, Parfletching & Tanning Hides, Flute & Drum Making, Soapstone & Wood Carving, Rock Painting, Cedar Cloth-Baskets-Boxes, Birch Bark Basketry, Building Willow Wig-Wams & Thatching Grass Lodges.

August 19-24 (2012)


Epic Family Fishing Camp

Join us for an incredibly fun week of fly fishing in wilderness mountain lakes, salmon fishing in the Snohomish & Puyallup Rivers, ocean perch and bottom fishing from ocean piers, crabbing and clamming along the beach, and more!

August 19-24, 2012. Join us at the Songcroft School for fishing in Snohomish County, and at the Wolf Campus in Puyallup for fishing in the South Sound region. Start and end at Blue Skye Farm on the Wolf Campus in Puyallup, and spend mid-week at the Songcroft Farm near Snohomish WA for an incredible week of nourishment from veggie gardens, herb spirals, farm animals, wild forests and sustainable technologies for the home.

Birds & Buds of Dunes & Canyons in Washinton State with transportation from the Seattle area.

Academic Year Earth Skills Apprenticeships

1. The Part-Time Wolf College Ethno-Ecology Apprenticeship features an Earth Skills Specialist Certification.
2. The Part-Time Wolf College Ethno-Botany Apprenticeship features an Ethnobotany Specialist Certification.
3. The Part-Time Wolf College Ethno-Zoology Apprenticeship features a Wildlife Ecology Specialist Certification.
4. The Full-Time Outdoor Living Year One - Traditional Technologies features a Traditional Technologies Specialist Certification and begins at the end of the summer upon completion of any of our Summertime Residential Teaching Apprenticeships.
5. The Full-Time Outdoor Living Year Two - Stone Age features Stone Age Skills Specialist Certification, costs $1,000 and begins upon completion of Outdoor Living Year One - Traditional Technologies.
